#IndiaDecidesOnDec11: Shivraj Singh Chouhan leads in Budhni
Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan is leading from his constituency Budhni, early trends suggest. The state which has a 230-member strong assembly went to polls on November 28. At the time of filing, Congress+ was leading in 113 seats, BJP in 105, and BSP in 4. Notably, a BJP office in the state sported a deserted look. Here's more on this.
Small players could play important roles
In areas of Mahakoshal, Bundhelkhand, Vindhya and Baghelkhand, small players like Samajwadi Party, Bahujan Samaj Party and Gondwana Gantantra Party have the ability to swing elections. While AAP has also fielded candidates in all seats, it is unlikely that the Delhi based party will dent the hopes of prominent parties in the Hindi heartland. Notably, BSP ditched the Congress before the polls.
