Woman screams BJP-government failed her, Rajnath Singh says 'baith jaao'
It seems Home Minister Rajnath Singh won't be able to complete his speeches without any interruption. After his address in Lucknow was halted by people demanding Ram Mandir in Ayodhya, recently a woman shouted the BJP government didn't do anything while Singh was speaking in another event at the Uttar Pradesh capital. Singh asked the woman to sit down. Here's what happened.
Woman complained about wages in gathering
The woman created a ruckus over salary appraisal and said the government doesn't understand how they run the household in just Rs. 5,000. Later, Singh called the disgruntled woman on stage.
Earlier, chorus for Ram Mandir had stopped Singh's speech
This is the second time in a week when Singh's speech was interrupted. On Sunday, when he was speaking at Yuva Kumbh event, attendees started shouting, "Jo Mandir Banwayega, Vote Usi ko Jayega (We will vote for the party, which constructs the Ram Temple)." His speech was stopped for nearly four minutes and the protesting voices didn't even pay heed to pleas of organizers.

Meanwhile, Singh remembering old friends in speech caught attention
During the speech, Singh also spoke about an alliance with a political party and how former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee supported the idea. Though Singh did not take any names in the speech, he mentioned Kanshi Ram and it is easy to figure out he was hinting towards Mayawati headed party, BSP. BJP joined hands with BSP in 1995, 1996 and 2002.
Singh says Vajpayee taught him the importance of alliance
Recalling the alliance, Singh said he was vehemently opposed to any alliance with BSP and Vajpayee stopped talking to him then. The alliance was finalized after meeting Kanshi Ram, said Singh. He added Vajpayee called him and explained to him the alliance's importance. Singh remembered the alliance at a time when SP and BSP have joined hands for 2019 general elections.
