'Modi conspired to prove..': Kejriwal's big charge against PM
Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) chief Arvind Kejriwal has accused Prime Minister Narendra Modi of conspiring to tarnish his reputation. Speaking at the Janta ki Adalat event in Delhi on Sunday, Kejriwal alleged that the prime minister had plotted to portray him and AAP leader Manish Sisodia as corrupt. "The way Modi ji is breaking parties and bringing down governments across the country by luring them or threatening them with Enforcement Directorate and Central Bureau of Investigation," Kejriwal said.
Kejriwal defends his tenure, accuses Modi of attacking honesty
Kejriwal defended his decade-long tenure as Delhi's chief minister, highlighting the various welfare measures implemented under his leadership. "For the last 10 years, we were running the government honestly...made electricity and water free...made treatment free for people...made education excellent," he said. "Modi ji started thinking that if he wanted to win against them, he would have to attack their honesty and then hatched a conspiracy to prove Kejriwal, Sisodia and AAP dishonest and put every leader in jail," he added.

Kejriwal explains resignation, plans to vacate CM's residence
Kejriwal also clarified the reasons behind his resignation as Delhi's chief minister. He stated that his political ambitions were not driven by personal gain but by a desire to reform the country's politics. "I resigned because I am not hungry for the Chief Minister's chair... I did not come to do corruption or to earn money," he said.
Kejriwal to vacate CM's residence soon
The AAP chief further revealed his plans to vacate the chief minister's residence shortly after Shraadh. "I will leave the CM's bungalow...I don't even have a house...I have earned only love in ten years, the result of which is that I am getting calls from so many people asking me to take their houses," he said. "At the beginning of Navratri, I will leave the house and come and stay at the house of one of you," he added.
Kejriwal's resignation followed release from jail
Kejriwal resigned earlier this month, just two days after being released from jail on bail in the excise policy scam case. The Supreme Court had granted him bail but barred him from entering the chief minister's office. Following his resignation, AAP leader Atishi was appointed as the new chief minister of Delhi. She took oath as the new CM of Delhi on Saturday, becoming not only the third woman to hold this position but also Delhi's youngest ever CM.
