Kejriwal woos BJP supporters, says they save ₹25k/month under AAP

Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Arvind Kejriwal has appealed to Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) supporters to vote for his party in the upcoming Delhi Assembly elections.
He said even BJP supporters are reaping the benefits of AAP's welfare schemes, saving up to ₹25,000 per month.
"I asked him [a BJP supporter], where would you go if the BJP comes to power? How many BJP-ruled states have good government schools?" he said.

Kejriwal has launched a "Bachat Patra" campaign to emphasize the financial benefits of AAP's welfare schemes.
He also announced new initiatives in the party's manifesto, which he said could boost monthly savings by another ₹10,000.
These include the Sanjeevani Yojana for free healthcare for the elderly and free bus rides for students with a 50% concession on Metro fares.

The Delhi Assembly elections will be held on February 5, with results due on February 8.
The AAP hopes to return to power for a third consecutive term after it won 62 of 70 seats in the 2020 elections.
Kejriwal has claimed that these new schemes could increase overall monthly savings to ₹35,000 if voters re-elect AAP.
