After brief setback, Kejriwal now leading in New Delhi constituency

Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) national convenor Arvind Kejriwal has secured 6,442 votes so far and is leading against Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) candidate Parvesh Verma, who has received 6,099 votes.
In Kalkaji Assembly seat, however, Chief Minister Atishi is trailing behind BJP's Ramesh Bidhuri by 1,149 votes, according to the Election Commission.
Kejriwal's former deputy Manish Sisodia was also trailing in the Jangpura by 1,314 votes agaisnt BJP's Tarvinder Singh Marwah.

A total of 699 candidates, including 603 men and 96 women, contested in the elections.
Exit polls have largely predicted a victory for the BJP. Projections show BJP could win between 35 to 49 seats, while the AAP could get between 21 to 37 seats.
The results will decide if Kejriwal-led AAP gets a fourth consecutive term or if the BJP will form a government after 27 years.
