Haryana Congress expels 5 leaders for 'anti-party' activities
What's the story
The Haryana Congress has expelled five of its leaders for six years for indulging in anti-party activities.
The decision was announced on Thursday by state party chief Udai Bhan.
The expelled leaders include former MLA Rambir Singh, Vijay Kaushik, Rahul Choudhary, Pooja Rani, and Rupesh Malik.
The expulsion came after reports of these leaders indulging in anti-party activities during the ongoing Municipal Corporation Elections of 2025.

Bhan took the decision in consultation with BK Hariprasad, who is in charge of party affairs in the state.
The party order signed by Bhan read, "Consequent upon the receipt of reports through various means of communications...the following persons are hereby expelled from the party for 6 years with immediate effect."

Among those expelled earlier were former District Congress Committee presidents Tarlochan Singh and Ashok Khurana, Pradeep Chaudhary, Madhu Chaudhary, Ram Niwas Rara, Harvinder, and Ram Kishan Sain.
Rara and Singh later joined the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).
