Hardik Patel says BJP would trap him in sexual-harassment case
Patidar leader Hardik Patel has now claimed that some IAS/IPS officers threatened him to end the quota agitation or else, to malign his image, his sex-CDs would be released. As prophesied by Hardik, about a dozen sex-CDs reportedly featuring him have gone viral on social media. Now, Hardik fears that BJP will "make a woman slap false sexual harassment charges" on him. What does Hardik have to say about the sex-CDs?
Hardik slammed the BJP saying that the "core issue," i.e. the future of farmers and youth, should not be forgotten in this brouhaha. He criticized the BJP government for not "acting on these issues." Further, in an IE interview, he said assuming that it is him in the video, "can't a 23-year-old youth have girlfriends?" He said he had people's support and won't budge.
Hardik threatens to make shocking revelations about BJP leaders
Seeking vengeance, Hardik said he would reveal shocking details about some BJP leaders at a rally on November 18 at Mansa, Gandhinagar. Incidentally, Mansa is BJP chief Amit Shah's ancestral village. Hardik assured that the revelation will be a "great explosion."

After the CDs released, Hardik received support from the urban youth. Dalit-activist Jignesh Mevani said BJP released CDs as it finds itself on the backfoot. However, BJP said despite people's misconception that they released these CDs, they are actually the outcome of Patidar community's internal rivalry. Deputy CM Nitin Patel contended that this is about ethics and morality. Hardik indulged in a shameful act.
How will the sex-CD affect Hardik?
This sex-CD might tarnish Hardik's image. Statements like "I am yet to marry and not an impotent" after the CDs' release are not helping his case; Patidar women/elders might feel offended. Moreover, he has not lodged a police complaint, giving the impression that he concedes about being the man in the video. This might weaken his support base, putting him on the defensive.
