Lord Hanuman was world's first tribal leader, claims BJP MLA
In yet another gaffe, BJP MLA from Rajasthan Gyan Dev Ahuja, recently said Hindu God Hanuman was the first tribal leader and that "SC/ST people" should be ashamed for disrespecting him. "When Lord Ram was on his way from Chitrakoot to the southern part of the country for the exile, Hanuman made his army of tribals and got training from Lord Ram," said the MLA of Ramgarh.

According to Ahuja, during the April 2 Dalit protests, a picture of Lord Hanuman was put below BR Ambedkar, and it was insulting. "These SC/ST people call themselves tribals. Even if they call Dr Ambedkar as their god, the first true tribal leader in the world was Hanuman ji. He is their first god. He trained the Dalits," he reportedly said, expressing his discontent.

Ahuja claimed to have lambasted BJP MP Kirodi Lal Meena for disrespecting Lord Hanuman. When asked to comment on Ahuja calling the deity a tribal leader, Meena said, "Ahuja would be better aware as to why he has called Hanuman a tribal." Meena also added, "He (Lord Hanuman) is a religious figure and such an incident hurts the sentiments of many devotees."

Once Ahuja claimed JNU students danced naked
This is not the first time Ahuja has made such unusual statements. In 2016, he claimed JNU students danced naked up to 8 PM in the night, and over 10,000 cigarette buds and 4,000 bidi parts were found in campus. "50,000 big and small pieces of bones of meat these traitors chew are found" he had said. Who gave him this data, we wonder.
