Election Commission declares votes of 2 Congress rebels invalid
As per the rules, a legislator can't show his ballot-paper to anyone, except his own party representative. The Congress had alleged that two of its MLAs Bhola Gohil & Raghav Patel showed their ballot-papers to Amit Shah. Both Congress and BJP reached out to EC, the former sought that those two votes be declared void. After a high-voltage drama, the EC declared them invalid.
