Congress in Goa, Tejashwi Yadav in Bihar, planning a 'Karnataka'
What's the story
In the aftermath of Karnataka rumble, Congress has said it will now approach Goa's Governor to form the government since they were the single largest party there, back then. Yatish Naik of Congress reminded his party got 17 seats in the election as opposed to BJP's 13. Notably, Karnataka Governor on Thursday invited BJP's Yeddyurappa to form the government, although BJP got 104 seats.

For the 40-member House, Congress had won 17 seats, and BJP only 14. It still managed to form the government after a post-poll alliance with Goa Forward Party and MGP. Both the regional parties had secured three seats each. BJP also got three Independents to its side. Reeling from Karnataka's defeat, Congress now looks hell-bent to give BJP a taste of their own medicine in Goa.

Not only Congress, even RJD learns something from Karnataka
Calling what happened in Karnataka a murder of democracy, RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav said they'll stage a one-day dharna against it. "We also request the Bihar Governor to dissolve the state government & like in Karnataka invite the single largest party, which in Bihar is the RJD," he added. Breaking the grand alliance, Nitish Kumar had joined BJP to form the government in Bihar.
