Ghanshyam Tiwari is an Indian politician who is serving as the National Spokesperson of the Samajwadi Party (SP), as of 2021. He had also served as the advisor of the Janata Dal (United) government in Bihar from 2010-2015. Until 2016, he was also the communication advisor to the party spokesperson and the Chief Minister of Bihar. Tiwari was born on June 29, 1979, in Andhra Pradesh and completed his bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from NIT Surathkal. In 2005, he also pursued an executive management program from IIM Bengaluru and later completed his MBA from Kellogg School of Management in 2011. Tiwari also has a master's degree in public administration and public policy from Harvard Kennedy School. He has worked with various international organizations like McKinsey & Company, Intel, and the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation. Tiwari contested the Lok Sabha constituency of Karakat in the 2019 Indian General elections in Bihar. However, the seat was won by Mahabali Singh of Janata Dal (United).
