NDA parting ways; four years of Modi government, disappointing: Mayawati
BSP chief Mayawati today termed the four years of Modi-led government as "disappointing" as the NDA alliance partners are parting ways with the BJP, one by one. "The four years of the BJP-led government have been the most unsuccessful," she said. The Modi government completed four years in power today. Mayawati would hold a meeting of her party office bearers later in the day.
BJP had bowed down before the capitalists
"This kind of exploitation of the poor and common people has never been seen before," she said. Mayawati added that the PM's unfulfilled promises undermined the faith of this government. The BSP chief claimed that the government had bowed down before the capitalists as a result of which the country's economy had suffered and people are concerned about their money in the banks.
BJP's rule means 'Jungle Raj'
Mayawati alleged that there was anarchy in all walks of life, which proved that the BJP's rule meant "jungle raj". "It seems that they have given permission to their people to level all kind of unfounded allegations," she said. Mayawati alleged that there had also been an unsuccessful attempt to hush up rape cases in Kathua and Unnao by the BJP.
