Additional charges include spreading misinformation about Modi's official residence and vehicles.

AAP's response to the allegations
The AAP has rubbished these allegations as politically motivated.
"False cases are being registered to divert attention from real issues concerning the people," a party spokesperson said.
The party also accused BJP leaders of tampering with voter lists and indulging in illegal activities, such as handing out cash and gifts, without being subjected to the same legal action.

Previously, the Election Commission of India (ECI) had warned political parties against using deepfake content, threatening charges under laws related to identity theft and forgery.
However, the ECI has yet to comment on the current use of AI in election campaigns.
Delhi will go to the polls on February 5, with results to be declared on February 8.
