'Congress supports dangerous ideas...': Modi's letter to BJP candidates
Prime Minister Narendra Modi has written a letter to all Bharatiya Janata Party candidates contesting in the third phase of the Lok Sabha elections. In his message, he urged them to inform voters about what he views as the "divisive and discriminatory" strategies of the Congress party and its Indian National Developmental Inclusive Alliance. He expressed concern over their plan to allocate reservation for their voter base, potentially affecting SC, ST, and OBC communities.
Modi's concerns over Congress's reservation plan
Modi voiced his apprehension about the Congress party's plan to provide reservation to their voter base, potentially at the expense of SC, ST, and OBC communities. He stated, "Their intention is to give reservation to their vote bank by snatching it away from the SC, ST and OBC communities." He further emphasized that reservation based on religion is unconstitutional. This letter was made public by Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya via a social media platform.

PM Modi warns against Congress's 'dangerous ideas'
In his letter, Modi also accused the Congress of intending to redistribute people's hard-earned money to their voter base. He warned against the party's endorsement of what he termed as "dangerous ideas" like "inheritance tax." They are bent on snatching away people's hard-earned money and giving it to their vote bank, he added.
Not an ordinary election: PM
PM Modi further wrote that this is not an ordinary election and every vote to BJP will to accelerate its efforts to form a strong government and make India developed by the year 2047. "This election is a golden opportunity to build our present and bright future. This election is an important moment to get relief from the hardships that our family and the elders of the family have endured during the five-six decades of Congress rule," the letter read.
