The Chandigarh district court has framed charges against four Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leaders, including Kharar MLA Anmol Gagan Mann.
The charges pertain to a clash with police and obstruction of government employees outside the Punjab BJP's Chandigarh office in February 2021.
The court proceedings on Saturday named the accused as Mann, Chandigarh AAP co-incharge Dr Sunny Ahluwalia, Rajwinder Kaur Gill, and Arshdeep Singh.

The charges were framed under sections 188, 323, 332, and 353 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC).
An FIR was first registered against the accused on February 5, 2021, at the Sector 39 police station.
The accused, according to police reports, were part of a protest by hundreds of workers outside the Punjab BJP office.

AAP leaders accused of laying siege to BJP office
The prosecution alleges that AAP's Punjab women's wing president Rajwinder Kaur and youth leader Anmol Gagan Mann tried to lay siege to the BJP office in Sector 37, Chandigarh.
They reportedly attempted to break through barricades during the protest.
The FIR also mentioned that the leaders violated social distancing norms imposed due to the COVID-19 outbreak at the time.
