Rahul Gandhi was born with a silver spoon: Mishra
"Rahul Gandhi acts like a cartoon character. He was born with a silver spoon and dreams to become the prime minister someday. Our PM Narendra Modi is a self-made person and comes from a poor background," Mishra said.
Rupani says Modi taking India forward, Congress holding it back
Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani was also one of the attendees of the event. He praised PM Modi's governance and his attempts to make India a world leader. He claimed Congress was holding the nation back. "Youth is the power of any nation and they can bring revolution and change in society," he said, while addressing the gathering which mostly consisted of young cadres.
Event turns sour after BJP cadres fight among themselves
At the convention, Gujarat BJP Chief Jitu Vaghani took a dig at Hardik Patel and said PM Modi should be a role model of youth, not some pawns who tried to mislead the youth. The meet was meant to make young cadres enthusiastic but a scuffle broke out. Some members punched and thrashed each other, and the matter was resolved after Vaghani intervened.
