BJP MLA's shocker: Bomb those who feel unsafe in India
What's the story
Adding to the long list of problematic statements of leaders, BJP MLA from Muzaffarpur Vikram Saini has said those who feel afraid in India should be bombed.
"Give me a ministry and I will bomb all such people, not even one will be spared," he was quoted by news agency ANI.
In the 74 seconds video, Saini called 'such people' traitors.
Here's more.
Quote
Who stopped you from leaving India, Saini asks
"Such people are traitors. Some arrangements must be made for them. They should be punished. Why should you stay here if you don't have any patriotic feelings towards your country. If you feel unsafe, go where you feel safe. Who has stopped them?" he said.

Context
Last month, Naseeruddin Shah's words courted controversy
To recall, veteran actor Naseeruddin Shah said a few weeks ago he feared for his children.
He spoke of a possibility when his kids could be surrounded by a mob to be questioned about their religion and they wouldn't have an answer to it.
His words rekindled the intolerance debate and even Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan weighed in.
Shah, however, slammed him.
Looking back
Saini has a penchant for uttering nonsensical statements
Notably, Saini's controversial statements are quite (in)famous.
In 2017, he said he would break limbs of those who had trouble saying Vande Mataram, Bharat Mata Ki Jai and disrespected cows.
Once he said due to some 'irresponsible leaders', Muslims stayed in India after partition.
"If they (Muslims) had not stopped in India, the property of crores would be of the Hindus," Saini had said.
