BJP Haryana MLA weeps loudly on camera after ticket denied
Shashi Ranjan Parmar, a former Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Member of the Legislative Assembly (MLA), burst into tears during an interview on Friday. The emotional outburst came after Parmar was denied a party ticket for the upcoming Haryana Assembly elections. He had hoped to represent the BJP from Bhiwani and Tosham constituencies in Haryana.
Parmar expresses distress over party's decision
In the video, a visibly upset Parmar can be heard saying, "I had thought that my name would be on the list." He then breaks down into tears, expressing his helplessness and distress over the party's decision. "I had assured people that my name was being considered. What do I do now? I am helpless," he said amid sobs.
Interviewer urges Parmar to stay strong
The interviewer tries to console the distraught former MLA, assuring him that his party and constituency would recognize his worth, but Parmar continued crying. "What is happening to me...the way that I have been treated... I am in so much pain. What kind of decisions are being taken?" he asked in a hoarse voice.

Haryana Assembly elections scheduled for October
The Haryana Assembly elections are set to take place on October 5, with vote counting scheduled for October 8. The deadline for filing nominations is September 12, followed by a scrutiny of papers on September 13. Candidates have until September 16 to withdraw their nominations. There are 90 Assembly seats distributed across 22 districts. Of these, 73 are unreserved, and 17 are designated for Scheduled Castes (SC).
