For Kapil Mishra, doors of BJP always open: Vijay Goel
Former Union Sports Minister Vijay Goel said doors of Bharatiya Janata Party will always welcome ousted Aam Aadmi Party leader Kapil Mishra. On Sunday, Goel paid a visit to Mishra's residence as a part of BJP's 'Sampark for Samarthan' (Contact for Support) initiative flagged by party president Amit Shah on May 30, to talk about Modi led government's achievements in the past four years.
"We need friends like Mishra," says Goel
"We want all the good people to support the party; this is why we have started the 'Sampark for Samarthan' initiative," said Goel after the meeting. Mishra headed the Water Resource Ministry in Delhi. But in an open rebellion, he accused Arvind Kejriwal and Satyendra Jain (Urban Development Minister) of corruption. In May 2017, he was sacked for 'poor water management'.

According to Goel, Congress and AAP are scared of Modi
Speaking about the speculated pre-poll alliance between AAP and Congress, in the run-up for Lok Sabha elections 2019, Goel said, "Because of the achievements of Modi Ji, they are in talks of an alliance, because they are scared." Though AAP's Dilip Pandey said senior Congress leaders are in talks with AAP, Ajay Maken denied such an alliance because "AAP created the monster that is Modi."
Changing parties: Will Mishra accept Goel's invitation and join BJP?
Kapil Mishra's mother, Annapurna Mishra, is a senior BJP leader from East Delhi and former mayor of the East Delhi Municipal Corporation. His joining BJP will definitely help the party, considering his tiff with Kejriwal. Only time will tell if Mishra joins BJP or not.
