'Display of spite...': Shah slams Kharge over remark on Modi
Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Monday criticized Congress leader Mallikarjun Kharge for involving Prime Minister Narendra Modi in his personal health issues. Shah said Kharge had "unnecessarily" dragged Modi into the matter. During a campaign rally on Sunday, Kharge nearly fainted while addressing the audience. After regaining his strength, he said he would not die before witnessing Modi's removal from power.

'Hate and fear...': Shah
The Union Home Minister said that Kharge's remark showed how much hate and fear "these Congress people have of PM Modi." He added, "As for the health of Mr. Kharge Ji, Modi Ji prays, I pray and we all pray that he lives a long, healthy life. May he continue to live for many years and may he live to see the creation of a Viksit Bharat by 2047."
What Kharge said in the rally
During a poll rally in Kathua, Jammu and Kashmir ahead of the third phase of voting for assembly elections, Kharge experienced a "syncopal attack (fainting)." He continued his speech after a short break, saying, "I am 83 years old. I am not going to die so early. I will stay alive till PM Modi is removed from power."
