Bihar exit polls predict victory for Tejashwi Yadav-led Grand Alliance
The voting for the third and final phase of Bihar Assembly Election 2020 has ended. Voting was held on October 28, November 3, and November 7. The ruling National Democratic Alliance (NDA) is seeking re-election with Chief Minister Nitish Kumar as the CM candidate. Meanwhile, the Rashtriya Janata Dal's (RJD) Tejashwi Yadav is the CM candidate for the 'Grand Alliance,' which includes the RJD, Congress, and Left parties. According to the exit poll conducted by Times Now and CVoter, the Bihar election will result in a hung Assembly. The ruling NDA is projected to win 116 of the 243 seats, while the RJD-led Grand Alliance will likely grab 120 seats, according to the poll. The LJP will win only one seat, the poll predicted.
Republic-Jan ki Baat predicts slight edge for Grand Alliance
According to Republic TV and Jan ki Baat's exit poll, the NDA is expected to win anywhere between 91-117 Assembly seats. Meanwhile, the Grand Alliance is projected to win 118-138 seats, according to the poll. The majority mark in the Assembly is 123. The LJP will likely rake up meager five-eight seats in the election, the poll predicted.
Tejashwi Yadav most preferred as CM: India Today-Axis My India
According to India Today-Axis My India's poll, Tejashwi Yadav is the most popular choice among voters. 44% of respondents want him to be the next Bihar CM. 35% of respondents picked Nitish Kumar, while 7% picked LJP's Chirag Paswan. The poll also predicted that the Grand Alliance will win 139-161 seats, while the NDA and LJP will win 69-91 and three-five seats respectively.
Tight race between NDA, Grand Alliance: ABP-CVoter
The ABP-CVoter exit poll has predicted that the NDA will win 104-128 seats, giving the ruling alliance a slight chance at winning the election. According to the poll, the Grand Alliance will likely win 108-131 seats in the election, implying a tight race this year. Meanwhile, the LJP will win one-three seats, the poll predicted.
Grand Alliance to win 180 seats: Today's Chanakya
The Today's Chanakya poll has predicted that the NDA will win 34% (± 3%) of the vote share, while the Grand Alliance will win 44% (± 3%). 22% of votes will go to other parties, the polls predicted. The poll predicted that the Grand Alliance will win 180 seats (± 11 seats), while the NDA will likely win 55 seats (± 11 seats).
