Before son Dushyant's oath-taking ceremony, father Ajay Chautala gets freedom
What's the story
As is obvious by now, the alliance with Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has served Jannayak Janata Party's Dushyant Singh Chautala well. Hours after he "signed the deal", his father Ajay was granted 14-day furlough from Tihar jail.
A short while ago, the former parliamentarian walked out of Asia's largest prison facility, and will reportedly attend his son's oath-taking ceremony.
Here are more details.

Backstory: As polls ended in hung assembly, BJP-JJP joined hands
Earlier this week, Haryana went into polls and results were declared on Thursday. None of the parties attained the magic number of 46, needed to form the government.
Subsequently, BJP which won 40 seats, approached JJP, which had 10 seats in its kitty.
On Friday night Home Minister Amit Shah announced the formation of the post-poll alliance. JJP was given the Deputy CM post.

Reaction
After Ajay's release, Congress said "corruption washing machine" is on
Unsurprisingly, Ajay's furlough drew criticism from Congress and other parties.
Sharing a news report of the same, Priyanka Gandhi Vadra tweeted, "Akhil Bhartiya corruption washing machine is on!"
Separately, the Delhi government, run by AAP, said it had no role in Ajay's release.
"The Tihar DG did not consult the Delhi government nor was the view of the government sought," the state government clarified.
