Delhi Assembly session: All BJP MLAs stage walkout
All four BJP MLAs today walked out of the Delhi Assembly to lodge their protest after Speaker Ram Niwas Goel turned down the request of Leader of Opposition Vijender Gupta for a discussion on the condition of "jhuggis" in the city. Speaker said all allegations are baseless
The names of BJP MLAs are Gupta, Om Prakash Sharma, Manjinder Singh Sirsa, and Jagdish Pradhan, who walked out of the House in protest. Goel also slammed the Leader of Opposition for making "baseless" allegations that the speaker was not allowing the discussion for the last 12 days on "jhuggis" since the Budget Session of the Assembly began on March 16.
