AAP-supporters target IAS officer on Twitter, she replies with sanity
While Delhi's CM Arvind Kejriwal is sitting inside L-G Anil Baijal's office to strike, supporters of Aam Aadmi Party launched a full-blown Twitter attack on transport Commissioner Varsha Joshi. The IAS officers of Delhi on Sunday said they were being made political pawns in the battle between Kejriwal and L-G. They maintained they were working with diligence and weren't on strike.
Kejirwal claims IAS officers are on strike, they deny
The trolling started when Varsha Joshi said there was no strike of IAS officers as opposed to what has been said. For a week now, Kejriwal and other AAP leader have been protesting inside L-G's office demanding an end to 'unofficial strike' of IAS officers. They also demanded action against bureaucrats skipping work. But the officers claim news of strike is false.
One Twitter user told Varsha Joshi to stay at home
Showing their allegiance to AAP, Twitter users attacked Joshi, a 1995 batch IAS officer. One user @suraiya95 wrote: Rape happening every day in Delhi. GET SCARED and RESIGN and STAY PUT at HOME, when Joshi tweeted about the trolling she faced in the last week. She had written she cleared her timeline of filth. Joshi then tagged Delhi Police to report the matter.
Another one asked Joshi to give records of meetings attended
A Twitter user @kapsology asked Varsha Joshi: When was the last, you attended any meeting called by elected representatives of Delhi people? Instead of answering this simple question, you are just playing 'political fodder' victimization in every tweet of yours! To this when Joshi replied she attended each statutory meeting except when she was on leave, the user accused her of 'playing with words'.

Joshi even tried explaining why officers are scared
While AAP supporters kept hurling questions at Joshi and accusing her of not attending meetings, she raised the issue of officers' safety. Joshi wrote, "I don't think any officer would feel safe attending such a meeting again until Honorable CM assures the safety and dignity of officers." The safety issue was raised by IAS officers on Sunday's press conference too.
Blinded by 'allegiance', one user questioned Joshi's IAS degree
As Delhi deadlock continues, HC pulls up Kejriwal
In the latest development in AAP vs L-G tussle, the Delhi High Court told Kejriwal he couldn't stage a protest inside someone's house. The HC on Monday also asked who gave him permission for the strike. While there is still no clarity when this 'dharna' will end, one has to appreciate the way Joshi handled the trolls and gave them sane answers with affection.
