Case against AAP MLA for misbehaving, blowing kisses at woman

Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) MLA Dinesh Mohaniya has been booked for allegedly misbehaving with a woman during his campaign for the Delhi Assembly elections, ANI reported.
Mohaniya reportedly made inappropriate gestures and blew flying kisses at the woman.
A case has been registered against him at the Sangam Vihar Police Station under sections 323, 341, and 509 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Samhita (BNS), Delhi Police sources told the news agency.

The allegations come as voting is underway for the Delhi assembly elections, where Mohaniya is contesting from the Sangam Vihar constituency.
He is up against Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)'s Chandan Kumar Choudhary and Congress's Harsh Choudhary.
A total of 699 candidates are contesting for seats across 70 constituencies in Delhi in this election.

Another case agaisnt AAP leader
A case was also registered against AAP MLA Amanatullah Khan for allegedly violating the Model Code of Conduct (MCC) before the Delhi assembly elections.
The case against the sitting MLA for Okhla was filed after he was seen campaigning with over 100 supporters in Zakir Nagar on Tuesday night.
The case was registered under Section 223 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), which deals with punishment for disobeying orders given by public servants .

Delhi Assembly elections: AAP seeks re-election
Polling started at 7:00am and will go on till 6:00pm in different constituencies, including high-profile ones like New Delhi and Jangpura.
Some of the notable contests include Arvind Kejriwal (AAP) against BJP's Parvesh Verma and Congress's Sandeep Dikshit in New Delhi.
The AAP, which has over 60 seats in the assembly, will be vying to retain Delhi under its grip as it wrestles the Congress and BJP.
Delhi's electorate includes over 1.56 million registered voters.
