AAP launches 'AAP Ka RamRajya' website on Ram Navami
The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has launched a new website, 'AAP ka RamRajya,' coinciding with the Hindu festival of Ram Navami. The unveiling comes ahead of the first phase of the Lok Sabha elections in 2024, scheduled to start on Friday. The website is a crucial part of the AAP's election campaign, aiming to highlight Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal's achievements in implementing Lord Ram's principles in Delhi and Punjab.
Senior AAP leaders attend 'Ram Rajya' website launch
The press conference for the website's launch saw attendance from senior AAP leaders, including Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Singh, Atishi, Saurabh Bharadwaj, and Jasmine Shah. Singh stated that the website encapsulates Kejriwal's vision of "Ram Rajya," often associated with an ideal state of governance. He added, "Kejriwal has done tremendous work in Delhi in the last ten years and has set an example for the entire country."
Website features image of Lord Ram
The website features an image of Lord Ram and AAP National Convener Kejriwal carrying the Indian flag. Once open, we can see the first video of the chief minister's speech from March 2021, in which he stated that the AAP administration is inspired by the concept of Ram Rajya and outlined the 10 principles of Ram Rajya. Over the years, the party has repeatedly said it draws motivation from Ram Rajya to launch programs for the welfare of people.
Kejriwal's efforts compared to Lord Ram's 'Ram Rajya'
During the launch, Atishi drew parallels between Lord Ram's efforts to establish 'Ram Rajya' and Kejriwal's endeavors to fulfill his dream of Ram Rajya over the past decade. She stated, "Arvind Kejriwal has struggled a lot in the last ten years to fulfill his dream of Ram Rajya in Delhi." She also urged people to explore the website before voting to understand the AAP's ground-level work.
Delhi Lok Sabha Election 2024
Voting for Delhi's seven constituencies will take place on May 25 during the sixth phase of the general election. Vote counting will take held on June 4. The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) won all seven seats in Delhi during the 2019 Lok Sabha elections. However, the AAP went on to win the Delhi Assembly Elections in 2020 with a landslide majority.
