Mumbai man, taunted for being uneducated, stabs friend 54 times
Unable to bear constant taunts from his friend for being uneducated, a 21-year-old man in Mumbai slashed his 18-year-old friend's throat and stabbed him 54 times to ensure he is dead. He then surrendered himself at the Shahu Nagar police station. He also accompanied the cops to where he had kept the body. This shocking incident happened on Thursday midnight.

The accused, Mohammed Amir Abdul Wahid Rahin, confessed that he wanted to kill his 18-year-old friend Mohammed Afroz Alam Shaikh since a long time but was waiting for the right time and place. He got a chance on Wednesday night, when he took Shaikh for a drink to Bandra. They both bought beer, after which Shaikh went to the bathroom and Rahin followed him.
Rahin followed Shaikh to the bathroom and stabbed him
First, he slashed Shaikh's throat with a knife. He fell down but Rahin continued stabbing in his throat and stomach to ensure he is dead. He stabbed him 54 times, then hid the body near Raheja Bridge in Mahim, where he took the cops after confessing the crime. Shaikh, a Madhubani resident, had come to Mumbai two years and was preparing for SSC exams.
