In a gut wrenching video, a woman alleged 'physical and mental' torture by her husband and sought help from Mumbai Police. The video has gone viral, after the filmmaker Ashoke Pandit shared it on Twitter. In the video, the woman, a Khar resident is seeking help. Despite registering an FIR, police had not taken any action
In the video, the woman claimed, "He has been 'torturing me' for several years. I have been in the relationship just for the betterment of my children. But this man refuses to do the needful for my living." She alleged that despite registering an FIR, police had not taken any action. However, police said they are investigating the matter and necessary actions would be taken.
The woman filed two cases against the husband recently: Police
A senior police official said that she had a dispute with her husband, after which she registered two cases against him - one for housebreaking, another for criminal intimidation. The woman claimed that she had been electrocuted on her own bed. She also mentioned that her husband is a serial womanizer. She further added that the cops are hand in gloves with the husband.
