    What's the story

As heavy rains threw the normal life out of gear in Mumbai, University of Mumbai has announced that those who missed the examinations today can reappear later.

The schedule of fresh exams will be announced soon, the varsity said.

Incessant rains have been lashing the metropolis since many hours now.

The collapse of a road over-bridge in Andheri crippled the Western Railway's local-train services.

Rainfall is expected to cross 90mm in some parts of the city today. Heavy downpour is likely in Mumbai and Thane today and tomorrow, with rains continuing till the weekend.

Both road and train traffic have been impacted.
