Mumbai: Two booked for 'indecent exposure' on society premises
A homeowner and his female friend were allegedly booked for indecent exposure in a residential complex's public areas in Mumbai's Santacruz. According to the official complaint filed by the residents of Raman SRA CHS in Santacruz east's Vakola, a female visitor at a residence on the fifth floor of the building was walking around naked last week in the building.
Here's how society members found out about incident
The members of the society reportedly came to know about the entire incident while they were going through the CCTV footage after a bulb in front of the lift on the fifth floor went missing last week. In the footage, they saw that the woman was completely naked when she stepped out of the flat at approximately 11:30 pm last Monday.

Furthermore, the residents also alleged that the woman performed lewd acts at different places in the building complex, which her host was aware of. "We looked at the footage from the other floors as well and found her moving all through the building without clothes and doing indecent acts in many places," Hindustan Times quoted the police complaint as saying.
Host was fully aware of whereabouts of accused woman: Complaint
Per the complaint, the man was at his residence with another male friend when the woman was performing obscenities. The man had previously also been caught performing indecent acts with other female friends, which had caused disagreements between him and the residents of the building, the complaint read. It added that the host was fully aware of the whereabouts and state of the woman.

Furthermore, the police complaint also stated that the host has been bringing numerous unknown women to his flat for years and was found guilty of doing indecent acts in the past. "He has earlier been told not to do this. He resides in another building along with his family but keeps coming to the flat in this building with unknown women," the complaint reads.
Complaint filed under multiple IPC sections
According to an official from the local police station, a complaint was registered in the incident under multiple Indian Penal Code (IPC) sections. "We have booked the host and the woman who were found doing objectionable acts in public areas under Sections 294 (performing obscene acts in public) and 114 (abetment) of the Indian Penal Code," the official was quoted as saying.
