Mumbai Police warns everyone of 'new age' Ravana
What's the story
Trust Mumbai Police to deliver a message through their social media profile, and they will never disappoint.
Riding on the festivities of Dussehra, the Twitter handle of Mumbai Police asked everyone to be aware of 'new age' Ravana.
The ten-headed demon which poses a threat today includes cyberbullying, hate mongering, stalking, cheating, morphing, misinformation, impersonation, blackmailing, phishing and fraud.
Point taken, Mumbai Police.
Festival
The age is different, battles too
The festival of Dussehra is about good's triumph over evil. By killing the demon king Ravana, Lord Rama left a legacy for all.
But this age is different, and so are the demons. And in the case of internet crimes, one can't even see the perpetrators.
Considering how battles are different now, Mumbai police's tweet is a reminder which we all needed.
