Right from Kiki challenge, road safety to crimes like drug-sniffing and drunk driving-Mumbai Police has churned out tweets concerning each of these, always pulling out latest trends. These are never boring, preachy tweets, but witty ones, which inevitably garner handsome response. One such recent tweet of theirs, which has already been liked over 5,000 times, is about pick pocketing and it's hilarious!
He picks up the wallet, then notices the 'uparwala'
The tweet has a video attached showing a lanky man wearing a grey hoodie standing in a line. He swiftly picks the pocket of the man standing just ahead of him and was about to put the wallet in his pocket, when he notices a CCTV camera, looking right at him. In panic, he does a namaste acknowledging the camera and returns the wallet.
'You're superior to me. Admitted,' signaled the failed-robber to CCTV
While returning it, he taps the shoulder of the man to whom the wallet belongs, and feigned as if it's fallen on the ground. The man shakes the failed-robber's hands in gratitude. The latter again turns to the CCTV and does a namaste signaling 'I know you're above me.' The tweet attached says: The video's funny, but consequences in reality will be serious! #EyeOpenersForYou
As usual, some were sarcastic, but most applauded the humor
As expected, the reception is massive, with nearly 200 people commenting. While some said "That's y CCTV advertisers always mention. "koi dekhe ya na Dekhe Uparwala sab Dekhta Hai," others commented, "What's the use of CCTV cameras when so many traffic offenders haven't paid up for offences captured on camera?"
