Mumbai: Housing society watchman arrested for sexually abusing dog thrice
Mumbai Police has arrested 41-year-old security-guard Ram Naresh Mishra for sexually assaulting a stray female dog thrice in a housing complex near Chembur Naka. CCTV footage shows Mishra locking himself up with the dog in his washroom for 5-7 minutes on each occasion. Guard currently in judicial custody: Senior Inspector SG Dal
Senior Chembur Police Inspector SG Dal stated Mishra was arrested under IPC Section-377 (for carnal intercourse against the order of nature with any man, woman, or animal), following complaints by residents and animal activists. The housing complex's secretary Asmita Deshmukh said Mishra was immediately fired after they saw the horrible act. Deshmukh also informed Mishra's private security firm and PETA about his actions.
Senior Inspector SG Dal's statement
Refusing to reveal more details, Dal stated: "It is a disturbing case. We cannot reveal more details and the court will decide what action needs to be taken. We are investigating the matter and have already submitted the panchnama (observations/evidence)."
Took us an entire day to make police understand: Deshmukh
Asmita Deshmukh said it took them an entire day to make the cops understand about their complaint after which they registered a FIR and finally arrested the guard. She added, "CCTV camera footage clearly shows the security-guard making masturbation gestures and then trapping what appears to be the same dog, on different nights, for a duration of time in the guard's toilet facility."
