Mumbai: 3 dead as fire breaks out in Galaxy Hotel
What's the story
At least three persons were killed and five others injured after a fire broke out at a hotel in the Santacruz area of Mumbai, Maharashtra.
The blaze was reported at Galaxy Hotel shortly after 1:15pm on Sunday, following which fire tenders were rushed to the spot.
While the fire has been brought under control, efforts to rescue people stuck in the building are underway.

Details
BMC on fire accident, rescue operation
Reportedly, the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) said a Level 1 fire erupted on the hotel's third floor. Six persons have so far been successfully evacuated by fire personnel.
The incident comes weeks after a 61-year-old man died in a blaze inside an apartment on the sixth floor of a residential building in Santacruz West. A woman was injured in the incident as well.
