Faulty signaling hits Mumbai train services during peak time
Already hit by the Ola-Uber drivers' strike, office goers in Mumbai had to face disturbance on Central Railways Harbour Line on Monday morning, adding to their blues. A snag in the signaling system at Chembur around 8.25 AM disrupted the train services, which were running late by more than 15 minutes. Trains running both ways were affected by this issue.

Snag repaired within 25 minutes, train services restored: CR official
Stations and trains on the route were overflowing with people due to the disruption. BEST ran five additional buses on existing routes to ease movement. A CR official said services were restored after the snag was repaired by 8.50 AM. But commuters said such incidents have become common on the Harbour Line. Some complained of being stranded for 20 minutes between Govandi and Chembur.
