Ziro Music Festival 2023: Date, artists, ticket prices, and more
Northeast India's highly-anticipated music festival is back with its 10th edition this year. Called the Ziro Music Festival, it is a contemporary celebration of art, music, nature, culture, community, and sustainability, happening in Arunachal Pradesh. From dates, timings, and ticket prices to artist line-ups and activities, here is everything you need to know about the festival this season.
Dates and ticket prices

Dance your heart out to electrifying performances by these artists
The festival will have three platforms named Danyi (Sun), Pwlo (Moon), and Takvr (Star). Danyi will be graced by artists like Pandit Vishwa Mohan Bhatt (classical music), Carnatic flutist Sikkil Mala Chandrasekar, popular Indian singer Mohit Chauhan, and popular Arunachali singer Chorun Mugli. Pwlo will feature popular rapper MC Altaf, Farhan Akhtar's band Farhan Echoes, and rock legend Lee Ranaldo, among others.

Takvr will have India's leading electronic artist, Sapta aka Marti Bharath, Anushka Manchanda, and a host of international artists. What's more? It is also going to welcome an incredible lineup of leading DJs and music producers from across the globe.
There are many other activities planned
This four-day enthralling music festival will have about 47 acts featuring both Indian and international names. Timing for Danyi is 12:00 noon to 5:00 pm, for Pwlo from 5:00 pm to 10:00 pm, and for Takvr from 7:00 pm to 3:00 am. The organizers have also lined up activities including traditional arts and crafts, workshops, dance, yoga, meditation, painting, mixology, and much more.
Ziro Festival's sustainability practices
Ziro Festival champions sustainability, respecting and preserving nature with a green philosophy. Bamboo plays a central role in constructing the festival's infrastructure. Notably, the event eliminates flex hoarding and discourages the use of single-use plastic. Instead of plastic cutlery, Tamul plates and leaves are used, and beverages are served in eco-friendly bamboo mugs. Attendees are encouraged to bring reusable bottles.
How to get to the Ziro Festival?
Take a flight to Lokpriya Gopinath Bordoloi International Airport (Guwahati, Assam), which is 450 km away from Ziro, the village hosting the festival in Arunachal Pradesh. Once you reach Guwahati, you can also take an overnight train to Naharlagun, which is only three hours of drive from Ziro. There is also an airport at Holongi, Itanagar which is a three-hour drive from Ziro.
