Effective ways to use camphor for healthy hair
While camphor is commonly linked to religious ceremonies, it holds practical benefits that can enhance your beauty routine. These small, translucent pieces — rich in valuable minerals and nutrients — work like magic, not only fortifying weak hair but also promoting hair growth. Whether in oils or tablets, camphor blends seamlessly with various ingredients to strengthen your hair.
Camphor and coconut oil
When it comes to balding and hair loss, camphor is crucial because thinning hair and a receding hairline can negatively affect our confidence and sense of self. For this, combine equal portions of camphor and coconut oil. Massage this mixture deeply into the scalp's roots. Give your hair a 20 to 30-minute sit-time after applying this combination. Then rinse it off after applying shampoo.
Camphor and olive oil
Olive oil is a great component for hair, especially in hair masks. It is a great combination to relieve itching and infections when used with camphor. Add olive oil into a bowl and stir in some camphor powder. Apply it and massage it slowly into your scalp. After 30 minutes, let it air dry and then shampoo it off.
Camphor oil and hibiscus flower
Heat sesame oil in a pan and add six to eight dried hibiscus flowers to it. Cover the pan and set it away as soon as the oil changes color. Add camphor oil and stir thoroughly. Apply this combination all down the length of your hair. Let it on for approximately 30 to 45 minutes. Use gentle shampoo to wash it off.
Camphor and neem
Neem is a well-known medicinal plant with antibacterial qualities that is used in neem hair masks. It is a potent component for treating dandruff because it is frequently used to treat skin infections. In a mortar and pestle, grind some neem leaves and add powdered camphor. After applying the paste to your scalp, leave it on for 30-40 minutes, and then shampoo it off.
