The cycling trail is about 35 kilometers and is a great way to simply get lost in the nature surrounding you.
The event starts from Bengaluru at 2:30 pm from where you cycle to Hesaraghatta before reaching Bengaluru city back at 6:30 pm.

The freshwater lake was built in 1894 by MC Hutchins, the Chief Engineer of Mysore.

The temple is visited by several devotees throughout the year to seek the blessings of Lord Shani.
The temple was constructed by a local farmer named Ganga Hanumaiah. Devotees offer ellu batti--black sesame seeds soaked in gingelly oil to please the Lord.
