A cruise vacation is surely a unique experience. However, packing for the journey be stressful sometimes - especially for a first-timer. Important documents
Be sure to pack key travel documents, cruise travel details, and other bookings, and their photocopies in case you misplace the original. If you are traveling overseas, keep your passport handy but safe. You should also have your medical insurance card, as well as any travel insurance information with you. It is better to carry copies on hand apart from the digital ones.
Sun protection
You will undoubtedly spend time outside while you are on a cruise. Carrying an additional bottle of sunscreen is always a good idea, as you should never step out under the sun without applying a good mineral sunscreen on your body. Consider packing a hat and a pair of sunglasses too. Similarly, having your sipper water bottles will be helpful during your cruise.
Power banks and convertible adapters
You are lucky if you get a new ship to cruise on as they are built with electrical outlets and USB ports. But most old ships lack them. Hence it is always better to carry a power strip, power adapter/ convertible adapters so you can charge multiple devices at once. Keeping a power bank with you also can come in handy.
Empty bags and foldable organizers
Space may be limited on cruise ships. The limited counter space would be difficult to fit all your travel needs. Bring a folding organizer o that your toiletries and other needs are all in one place. Similarly, it won't be a bad idea to bring a few empty bags with you to bring back extra items you may shop for.
