Five hacks that can make your life simple
Life is full of difficulties. Sometimes, we can't help but wish that we could use cheat codes just like we do in video games. Believe it or not, it's possible. Even though there aren't any cheat codes, you can surely use a life hack or two, every now and then. Here are some simple yet effective life hacks that can turn your life around.
Get rid of smelly shoes
Smelly shoes are a problem for everyone. So, try this: Place a couple of tea bags in your shoes, let them stay overnight, and the smell will be gone. This is so because tea bags absorb smells. If your shoes are not just smelly but also wet, put a mixture of rice and baking soda in them and leave for a few days.
Find lost items
Lost a shirt button or a small piece of jewelry? Incredible as it sounds, but you can find every small item lost inside your house. Here's how: Cover the end of your vacuum cleaner with some cloth and use it to find out lost items from under the bed or all those inaccessible areas where your hands can't reach.
Time-marked water bottles
This hack is great for those who forget to drink water. Buy a transparent water bottle, use a permanent marker to draw lines at different levels of the bottle, and write down the timings. However, in case you think you might end up ruining the bottle with the markings, you can simply buy a time-marked water bottle from an online store. Always stay hydrated!
Removing toilet bowl stains
Dirty toilet problems? We have a fix. Pour a can full of coca cola into the toilet bowl, and let it sit overnight. Wash it with soapy water the next day and flush it. Repeat this a few times and the stains will be completely gone. Not only this, coca cola can also help clean oven stains and other stains in the kitchen.
Clean the shower head
An unattractive shower head can ruin the whole look of your beautiful bathroom. Try this: Fill a plastic bag with white vinegar, and tie it tightly around the shower head, sealing it with a rubber band. Leave it overnight. Remove it the next morning, and see the results. You can also do this for your taps and other bathroom faucets.
