Beauty review: Clea sheet masks for healthy and hydrated skin
When it comes to skincare, most of us prefer face packs made with kitchen ingredients over those harsh chemical-loaded sheet masks. However, what if we told you that you can now use sheet masks that are packed with the goodness of Ayurveda instead of those chemicals? Clea by Ginni is a new kid on the block that offers just that. Here's my review.
No alcohol, sulfates, or added parabens: Clea masks are natural
These sheet masks are all made with natural actives, hence they don't feature alcohol, sulfates, or added parabens that may harm your skin. They also comprise milk protein, aloe vera leaf extract, fruit extracts, and vitamins. The masks are available in three variants - 'Haldi & Chandan' (for brightening), 'Kesar & Haldi' (for radiance), and 'Seawood & Grapefruit' (for anti-aging).
The sheets are aromatic and super hydrating on the skin
I tried Clea's 'Seaweed & Grapefruit' face sheet mask. The packaging says both these ingredients are "super collagen boosters for a plumper and more youthful skin." Well, where's the lie? After I had this mask on for 20 minutes, my skin actually felt a lot more supple and clean. The effect of this aromatic mask stayed on for hours, which is a bonus.
The sheet quality is great and the fit is comfortable
After a few days, I tried the 'Kesar & Haldi' mask. It won't be an exaggeration to say that I could experience a natural glow in my skin tone. The sheet quality is great and so is the fit. Although I felt a tad bit of stickiness on my face post-application, the hydrating effects overpowered it.
Should you buy Clea's sheet masks?
In short, yes. The masks stand true to their description and are designed to suit all skin types. Not do they only feel good on the skin but they quickly get absorbed too. A sheet mask from Clea costs only Rs. 99 (a pack of five masks costs Rs. 300 on Amazon), which makes it bang for the buck.
