Grow these small plants in a cup
When we think of variety of plants, a garden comes to mind. However, it is also possible to cultivate seeds in small and confined areas—not just small homes, but cups as well. Within the realm of small-scale gardening, the charm of plants thriving in cups has captivated the hearts of gardening enthusiasts. In fact, many seedlings grow easily within cups.
Snake plant
You can grow small and compact snake plant varieties in a teacup and set it up near the windowsill. Both large and small cups work well for growing them. Even at night, they work wonders by supplying oxygen and cleaning the air. However, avoid keeping them in direct sunlight as this could damage them. Their optimum habitat is indoors.
Holy basil (Tulsi)
This plant is well-known for both its spiritual and medical uses. It is easy to grow holy basil in a six-inch-tall container. It needs daily exposure to direct sunlight. Thus, make sure the cup is placed in places that receive enough sunshine. Refrain from dousing the plant with water directly onto its leaves and stems. Instead, directly pour the water into the soil.
Cactus
Cacti look quite adorable in miniature teacups. Place the teacups in a sunny spot as they thrive in bright, indirect light. Water sparingly, allowing the soil to dry out between watering sessions. The small confines of the tea cup create an intimate environment for the cactus, and with minimal care, you'll witness its slow and steady growth.
Oregano
Oregano, whose growth patterns are often unpredictable, adores the sun and grows best in pots or cups. This herb grows easily if placed in a sunny window and does well in tiny containers as well. However, it requires control since it grows quickly and efficiently. Once the plants are fully developed, you can use them in your meals for incredible flavors.
Parsley
Parsley just needs a little bit of sunshine, and is adaptable to various container sizes, which indicates it can grow in small containers as well. For optimal results, keep the soil moist and be careful not to overwater your plants. The plant can thrive in 10-30°C. However, it is preferable to bring it indoors at night because it doesn't like the cold.
