Meet Bijlee, Ola Electric's new pet employee
Indian electric two-wheeler manufacturer Ola Electric has recently introduced its newest team member Bijlee. "Bijlee" which translates to electricity in Hindi, is not your regular employee but a dog! The photos of Bijlee's official Ola Electric ID card were shared by Ola co-founder Bhavish Aggarwal on X, formerly Twitter. "New colleague now officially!" he tweeted. Being paw-sitive
As per the photos shared, the employee code on Bijlee's ID card is "440 V," referring to the standard voltage in electrical systems. The pooch's blood group is displayed as "PAW +ve." The address mentioned on the ID card is Ola Electric's Bengaluru office, signifying that Bijlee is present at Ola's Koramangala branch. Besides, the dog can be contacted by her employees through Slack.

Ola is a pet-friendly organization
In case of any emergencies, Bijlee's contact is specified as "BA's office," referring to the initials of Aggarwal. This is just another example of how Ola is open to furry companions. Earlier this year, Aggarwal took to Twitter to share a picture of three dogs sleeping on sofas inside the Ola office, with the caption "mornings at the office."
