What's the story

Recently, Paris, the global epicenter of fashion, hosted the highly anticipated Paris Fashion Week. This grand event showcased the latest works of both renowned designers and emerging talents, leaving fashion aficionados truly impressed. As always, Paris Fashion Week 2023 dazzled with a breathtaking display of styles, trends, and fashion statements. Let's delve into some of the standout moments from this spectacular week.

Trend 1

Rosettes

Rosettes were blooming on the runway as designers displayed an array of innovative floral patterns. Rosettes and feathers were seen on sheer, camisole dresses, a few of them being eye-catching and larger-than-life motifs. Roses as accessories were another trend on the ramp. Designer Jun Takahashi's 'undercover' collection had mini strapless dresses where skirts were lit up with butterflies and roses inside them.

Trend 2

Crochet lace

Crochet vibes aren't going out of trend anytime soon. Thanks to Paris Fashion Week, we saw many patterned crocheted outfits on the runway. Few collections featured detailed lace work that is primarily crocheted or tatted. Models were spotted with see-through lace fabric, intricate patterns and frayed sleeves. On the ramp, there were also numerous lovely floral and Grecian solar motifs embroidered in off-white lace.

Trend 3

Cargos

The classic trench and cargo were a popular trend at Paris Fashion Week. The event saw a rising trend of classic beige and colored cargo garments, creating a rugged but fashion-forward look. The runway witnessed a collection of classic cargo pants and shorts with multiple pockets to open cargo vests, and jackets over bras. These were paired with matching belts.

Trend 4

High-waisted pants

Incredibly high-waisted outfits were on the runway this time. Designers threw away conventional proportions and opted for high-waisted pants in classic outfits. Sometimes the models gave the impression that the clothes were swallowing them. Their torsos were completely encased by high waists, which had pockets underneath them. These pants were paired with chunky sweaters, cozy crocheted capes, and crisp shirts.
