Groom makes LED lehenga for bride so she 'shines bright'
When it comes to love, people do everything to make their significant other feel special. Just like how this groom from Pakistan made his lady love Rehab Danial an LED-lit lehenga so that she 'shines bright' on their mehendi ceremony. Soon after Daniel shared a glimpse of her attire on Instagram, it went viral, making it a subject of discussion on social media.
The dress was ornated with blinking, multi-colored LED lights
In the viral video, Danial could be seen walking hand-in-hand with her beau as she entered the wedding festivities in a 'lit' ensemble, quite literally. Her gown featured multi-colored LED lights, blinking and throwing off green, pink, and blue hues on her yellow attire. The bride shone bright and garnered everyone's attention, just as her partner wanted.
'I was told that people will make fun of me'
In the caption, Daniel wrote, "Throwback to my Mehndi 2023. My dress was designed by my sooper dooper husband who always wanted his bride to shine bright with lights on his Big day." "I was told that people will make fun of you but I wore it proudly, as I know no man did such kind of effort for their bride," she added.
The internet was not too impressed with the groom's effort
While some netizens were in awe of the effort made by the groom, others just couldn't stop complaining about the overall appeal of the outfit. "The idea was good but not done properly tbh! It would have been better if they used glowing fabric or anything well-designed," wrote a user. "Very good tell him not to take this much of efforts again," wrote another.
Other wedding moments that went viral for all good reasons
