Embrace the outdoors: Transform your home with these decor ideas
Going out feels almost impossible in summer and we frequently miss the excitement that being outside offers us in an effort to stay home. However, you can get the outside vibe indoors by redesigning your interior to include outdoor entertainment and avoid the sweltering heat. Here are some tips from experts regarding designing your indoor spaces with outdoor elements and decor items.
Create a quiet corner by the window
Gopal Suthar, founder of Furniselan, suggests making a quiet nice place alongside the room's window. "Bring over a table and a chair along the window lines. This quiet corner will happily bring in filtered outdoors by the curtains while being indoors. This way, you are likely to not miss being outdoors when you sit and sip a cuppa gazing outside," Suthar tells NewsBytes.
Add plants to your indoor space
Potted plants and vertical gardens add much-needed color and liveliness to your home. "The temperature of a room can be controlled by plants because they are biological air conditioners. Your home will have more ventilation if you add more plants," explains Suthar. "Additionally, plants filter the air in your house and enable you to breathe in clean air," he adds.
Add colors to your rooms
"Create a leisure area indoors with vibrant colors," says Raghunandan Saraf, founder and CEO, of Saraf Furniture. "Start by bringing a beautiful rug along with some fluffy pillows for comfort. Incorporate a coffee table alongside to serve food and drinks. Adjust the room lighting to introduce warm effects while being in an air-conditioned room all along," Saraf suggests.
Mix-match vibes
A slight mix and match of things in your background wouldn't be too much. Having elements of different sizes, and shapes would bring a different vibe to the place. Try to stick to a specific color theme though. Make sure to have chairs, tables, and couches of different and unique shapes that can blend with your flooring and walls.
Add a swing
Adding a swing to your home changes its appearance instantly. There are a wide variety of swings available. Look for swings that match your home color palette and place it on the front porch, in your backyard, or in your living room. You can also mix it up with rocking chairs and a garden stool to hold plants and maybe an outdoor lamp.
