No age limit
The Miss Universe pageant has historically included an age limit, allowing women between the ages of 18 and 28 to compete. But the ban was lifted starting this year. Embracing motherhood
Camila Avella from Columbia who is married with one child became the first married contestant. The Miss Universe Organization underwent a series of policy changes.
