SPF tales: Reviewing Friday Feeling's delightful sunscreens

    What's the story

If you are serious about skincare you must use sunscreen daily. While that is established, we often struggle to find the perfect fit... One may be too sticky, too thick, leave an unpleasant white cast, or wash away easily.

To test quality I recently tried two sunscreens from Friday Feeling - Second Nature and Golden Hour.

Here's an honest review of how they fared.

    About

About Second Nature and Golden Hour

Both the products are water and sweat-resistant. A big thumbs up from people living in humid regions.

They also contain humectants and antioxidants, which help maintain skin hydration and protect it from environmental damage.

Golden Hour is a tinted and shimmery finish and has SPF 30+ PA+++.

Second Nature boasts a lightweight formula providing blue light and infrared protection, with SPF 50+ PA+++.

    Highlighter

    Golden Hour for glamorous finish

Golden Hour is the minimal makeup girl's best friend, it comes with a tinge of makeup and shimmer.

If you are aiming for a little bling without investing hours in your makeup routine, this can be the hero in your purse.

The non-greasy formula enhances your complexion by blurring blemishes and leaving a shimmery glow behind. It can also be used as a highlighter.

    Primer

Second Nature can be your go-to primer

This sunscreen can also serve as a primer. The lightweight formula feels just like skin, as it blends in smoothly.

It claims to shield you from pollution, blue light, UV and infrared radiation.

Research suggests that exposure to infrared radiation, part of the sun's spectrum, may contribute to skin aging, including the breakdown of collagen and the formation of free radicals.

    Verdict

Adorable packaging and effective sunscreen performance

The adorable packaging captures your heart from the get-go.

While judging sunscreens based on a few weeks' use is no easy feat, the way it feels and looks on the skin says a lot about the formula.

Although they are priced higher, there's good reason behind it. If you're looking to treat your skin with a non-sticky and waterproof sunscreen, your search ends here.
