Besides his impeccable acting chops, the actor's chiseled and toned physique also makes him among the most sought-after Bollywood biggies. 'Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui'
Essaying the role of a fitness trainer and CrossFit athlete, Khurrana underwent an insane physical transformation to become super tight and beefy. His diet routine was tailored by popular lifestyle coach Luke Coutinho, while his training sessions at the gym were taken care by fitness trainer Rakesh Uddiyar. The actor spent 10 months to gain 10+ kg of lean muscle mass for the film.
'Anek'
Khurrana played an undercover cop in Anek, for which he had to do a lot of action scenes. Per reports, the actor's workout routine during his shoot massively included weight training to help him gain more muscle mass, cross-functional training for improving his flexibility, and cardio-based exercises like running to enhance his stamina. He also had to work a lot on his mental health.
'Bewakoofiyaan'
In Bewakoofiyaan, Khurrana was spotted showing off his six-pack abs, for which the actor had to follow a strict fitness and diet routine. During an interaction with Daily Pioneer, the star revealed, "My fitness regime just got crazy. I lost eight kilograms so far. I'm told not to bulk up my muscles, so I get a leaner look. I am doing lots of cardio."
'An Action Hero'
For playing a larger-than-life hero in this film, Khurrana shared with Gulf News that he had to make some dietary changes. He did a combination of cardio and weight training and had to cut down on lactose and gluten for a flatter tummy. Other than that, his workout routine remained pretty much the same that he usually sticks to.
