Right from his first film to the day so far, if there's one thing besides his performance that has remained consistent, it has to be his age-defying physique, burgeoning stamina, and irresistible charm. 'Brothers': The actor trained hard for his role
Essaying the role of a teacher-turned-MMA-fighter, Kumar underwent hard training to do physical justice to his character. Per reports, he climbed rocks, broke punching packs, did several push-ups, and performed wheelbarrows to bulk up. Additionally, his workout routine was mainly focused on chest and arm workouts to increase his upper body strength. The actor also indulged in cardio to increase his stamina.
'Baby': He amped up his workout routine
For Baby, Kumar had to up his fitness game. Sharing with DigitalSpy, he said, "Physically, it was a very demanding film and so I upped my game in the gym." Not just that, he further revealed that he was put on an "innovative new workout routine using traditional training equipment from Southeast Asia." He wore 50 wooden beads that weighed three kilograms.
'Bell Bottom': The stud trained extra hard for the film
If reports are to be believed, Kumar trained extra for his stint in Bell Bottom. He indulged in cycling to strengthen his core, honed his kickboxing moves, and pumped up his swimming sessions by lifting weights in the pool to look super fit for the role! This helped him focus on each muscle group during the shoot.
'Sooryavanshi' and 'Bachchan Pandey': The superstar lost weight
Kumar had two back-to-back films to shoot for which he had to lose weight for the characters he was playing. During a press conference, the actor was quoted saying, "I've lost weight for my films Sooryavanshi and Bachchan Pandey. I've shed about five to six kilos. I have lost weight naturally." He added that he didn't follow any special diet but increased his workout.
